File and Folder Monitoring Scripts for Operations Manager and Essentials 2007

I’ve been touching on file system monitoring in example scripts in the scripting series, and wanted to point out a few others I’ve posted ad-hoc during that time. I wanted to point you to those, and give you a heads up on part 3 of the scripting series coming soon.

In Part 1 and Part 2 we touch on file size?and file presence (or absence), and?show off some?custom performance objects in part 2.

I’ve recently posted scripts for

  • Folder Size (click HERE)
  • Folder Size + size data to custom perf object (Click HERE)
  • File Age (Click HERE), and?most recently
  • File Count. (click HERE)

?Look for Part 3 of the scripting series?around Monday next week
