I’ve read all the material I could get my hands on about gateway servers, and yet I’m still left wanting on a particular point: how action accounts and run as profiles work in that context. This guide only mentions action accounts once, and that’s as part of a step-by-step walkthrough. Where is the conceptual explanation? Can I deploy agents via a gateway server via the wizard? If my gateway server is in an untrusted domain, how can I setup run as profiles to govern how MPs work? I suspect the answer is: you can’t. And if so, this is a major drawback to using gateway servers which should be called out.
